As owner and President of
the company, Mr. Cammarata has been in the property management business since
1981. With a need to better serve the community association industry, he negotiated
a business transaction allowing him to purchase the condominium division of a
prominent, local property management firm that he had already been managing.
Cammarata Management, Inc.,
a privately held California corporation, was incorporated in December 1991 and
officially opened March 1, 1992.
Over the past decade, Mr.
Cammarata has been involved in a variety of organizations which include being
an active member in the Community Associations Institute (CAI), the California
Association of Community Managers (CACM), and the Institute of Real Estate Management
(IREM). In October 1993, Mr. Cammarata achieved the designation of Certified Community
Association Manager. In October 1996, Mr. Cammarata achieved the designation of
Association Management Specialist and Certified Manager of Community Associations.
Mr. Cammarata also holds a current sales license from the California Department
of Real Estate (original license 1984). In 1980 he graduated from California State
University Long Beach with a bachelors degree in Economics.
The company currently manages
seventy (70) Associations, with more than 2,000 units in the South Bay. Currently,
our entire operation is computerized as we generate all monthly billings and financial
reports in house. The office personnel consist of two property managers, secretaries,
and four people in the accounting department.
